Why I Started This Blog — My Skincare & Lifestyle Journal in Perth

Hi, I’m Jesslyn, and welcome to jesslyntte.space πŸ’— where I share honest reviews, life updates, and my journey as a student living in Perth, Australia.

Welcome to my skincare and lifestyle blog, I started this blog as a little personal space to share what’s going on in my life — from skincare reviews and product finds, to random thoughts, new cafes I try in Perth, or just things I feel like talking about. Kind of like a vlog, but in writing.

✨ Starting Fresh in a New Place

It has been 2 years since I decided to move from Malaysia to Perth. It’s been a big change — new environment, new people, and a completely different lifestyle. I’m here on a student visa, trying to figure things out and hopefully build a better future. Some days I feel motivated, some days I feel lost. If you're in the same boat, you’re not alone 🀍

🧴 Skincare, Reviews & All the Small Joys

Skincare is one of those small things that makes me feel grounded. I’ll be sharing honest reviews of products I use (nothing too fancy, just real talk). But I’ll also post about things I buy, restaurants I try, or just fun little things from my day-to-day life.

It’s not all serious — it’s just me, figuring life out and taking it one soft step at a time.

I actually tried to post more on TikTok, but honestly? I feel so cringe watching myself and hearing my voice 😭 So I realised writing is more my style. It’s also a chance for me to improve my English, which is something I really want to work on.

Plus, I have a really bad memory — so this blog also helps me document everything in one place. Once I post it here, I can delete the photo from my phone and feel like it still exists somewhere. Win-win πŸ˜‚

πŸ“± You Can Still Catch Me on TikTok Too

If you’re more into videos, I do post occasionally on TikTok — product demos, mini reviews, and other random stuff:

Thanks for stopping by. I hope this blog becomes a cozy little space that makes you feel seen, even just a little.
